Reviewed in the united states on october 25 2014 i wasn t planning to buy my rugs from ikea but passed by this while at the store and was immediately struck by how much this looks like grass. It doesn t have a bad smell like some of the other rugs. I made a trip to ikea and i ordered samples. I sifted through editorial reviews and the websites of big box stores and discount rug sellers comparing the finer details of nearly a hundred rugs.

It also has two lives since the rug is reversible and has the same pattern on both sides. Also when i tried to order it from ikea s website with their shipping costs it only ended up being about 3 00 cheaper but who knows how long it d take for them to ship it. This rug is more than double the price on amazon than it is at ikea but since i live over 2 hrs from the nearest ikea i would easily eat the cost in gas and time. Ideal in your living room or under your dining table since the flat woven surface makes it easy to pull out the chairs and vacuum.

My only thumbs down is the price. We love rugs in equal parts for their ability to liven up a room and well just the fact that they make things so darn cozy. Hodde rug flatwoven in outdoor a durable stain resistant rug that works just as well indoors as in the rain or shine on the balcony. It will shed more at first as it is a natural wool product.

It s not high pile it s just a simple thin floor protecting rug. The rug has different textures which makes it interesting.

Ikea recommends frequent vacuuming in the beginning. The rug is perfect for outdoor use since it is made to withstand rain sun snow and dirt.
